With over 50 years collective experience of providing care and support, Seashells provides a flexible and high quality service, enabling people aged 18-65 with learning disabilities and older people aged 65+, to sustain their homes whilst still recognising their differing needs.

Our Aim

Our aim is to enable our 'service-users' to live a normal life, and by remaining in their own home they can achieve this.  Service-users are surrounded by family and familiar things and can have friends and family visit whenever they choose.

We aim for our service-users to do as much for themselves as they can to minimise dependency and create independence.  Carers will endeavour to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all service-users, and by doing so will be sensitive to their ever changing needs: These may be medical, therapeutic, cultural, psychological, spiritual, social or emotional. Service-users are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised care plans in which the involvement of family and/or friends may be appropriate and greatly appreciated.

Our Coverage Area

Registered with the local authorities, we operate our services in the coastal area of the county of Conwy, North Wales: Llandudno; Deganwy; Conwy; Penmaenmawr; Llanfairfechan; Glan Conwy; Colwyn Bay; Colwyn Heights; Llanddulas; Abergele; Rhos-on-Sea & Penrhyn Bay.

Rights: Keeping all basic human rights available to the service-user.

Fulfillment: Enabling the service-user to recognise their own aims, and assist them to achieve their goals in all aspects of daily living.
